Life's like that?


This weekend was supposed to be good, a long break before we begin the crazy month of December, where we have one field camp after another, one live firing after another. But it just all went so wrong with the call to my friend in camp. I suppose, I'll be punished with at least another 3 extras, maybe worse. I'm resigned to it. Infantry field camp begins tomorrow for 3 days. Its going to be real tiring, and this time, as a commander, we'll be expected to be a notch better. We've to put up this front, so that we can lead our men. Show that we're not tired even when we really are. Not give up even when we're dying to. Welcome, to the life of a commander. The only piece of good news has been that I'll be attached out for a Platoon Sergeant course next week, 10 December onwards. It'll be a good break from this place, a place where effort is never sufficient.


Sometimes, I read your blog and wonder what's the message you're trying to get across to me. Saying something then leaving it trailing. But, in the end, its fine. Afterall, most of the time you've never really told me what you truly think, always brushing aside. The only times you bother, would be to argue with my opinions. But that's fine, your life is no longer mine to care about. If you ask me why do I still write all these, its obviously because I still care.


Though I'm just waiting for the day when I read your blog, and don't feel a single tinge of anything. No jealousy. No wish to find out more.


Life just hurts this way. Everything is down, everyone close is feeling depressed.

Reminiscence the past, cherish the present, look forward to the future with hope.
