The week started off on a bit of a moody tone, with me being stuck at camp as mentioned in my previous post. Weekends in camp suck, and there's one more in the following week. Nevertheless, it gradually got better. Monday brought good news of my elder brother clearing his driving practical on his first attempt. It was fantastic in the sense that he could save alot of money and time and start learning the ropes of driving from my dad himself. I wonder when would be my turn. It would be absolutely thrilling to be able to take the driver's seat. Tuesday brought even more fantastic news, with my dad getting a promotion as well as a significant pay rise. It was especially sweet considering the fact that he contemplating resignation. Having a higher than average bonus would go some way to giving us a treat. I ended my week with a fantastic day out with baby. I thought I managed to buy home some fantastic bargains. I met quite a number of people today, some I recognise, and some I know personally.
And somewhere out there, on an island not too far off, many are tossing and turning on their beds trying their best to fall asleep. The real journey for me, has just begun.
Reminiscence the past, cherish the present, look forward to the future with hope.
